Cupid's Crafters Celebration and
Sale @ Two Spotted Dogs!!!

Lots of fun stuff going on over the next week at
Two Spotted Dogs!!!

First off, the design team has been BUSY getting loads, and I mean LOADS of fun craft ideas, scrappy projects, recipes, gift ideas, tutorials and more together for our Cupid's Crafters Workshop that started today and will run through next weekend!!

Secondly, Diane decided to throw a HUGE SALE to go along with it. Here's her announcement...

This is my biggest sale ever! I really want to make room for all those new CHA goodies, so I have taken major markdowns on almost everything in the store. There are great markdowns on previous kits too! And I have also added some "leftovers" that I discovered while doing inventory. They are scattered throughout the store.

I have also added a new page to the store for Patterned Paper Add-Ons. Most of these are extras from previous kits, but many of them were not previously for sale on the website. There are a ton of them -and they are priced to sell!

Keep in mind that quantities are limited since this is a clearance sale.

Be sure to join us over at
Two Spotted Dogs and check all this fun-ness out!!

Just For Fun ~ Super Cute Home Decor Ideas

Just wanted to share some WAY fun Home Decor Projects I came across in a recent Scrapbooks, Etc. Newsletter. Definitely would like to do these some day...

Pop-Art Palette ~ design by Beverly Rivers

With a little paint and some foam-core board, nine fun cards form a spiffy piece of artwork. Start by painting a 22” square on your wall in a color that contrasts with your existing wall color. Use adhesive spray to mount your cards onto same-size pieces of foam-core board. Attach the squares to the painted square with double-sided carpet tape, and voila!—an Andy Warhol-like look without the price.

Who’s Got the Button? ~ design by Tonya Prawitt

Do you have more buttons that you know what to do with? Add some punch to a plain lampshade by gluing a handful of your favorites in various sizes and colors for a whimsical look. For a more sophisticated approach, try pearl or metallic buttons with a vintage feel.

Reflecting Beauty ~ design by Erin Terrell

Start your day with an affirmation done up in high style. All it takes is a mirror and rub-ons. The only rules are to start with a clean surface and draw light lines with a crayon-tip pencil to ensure straight placement. Work backward from the end of each line for perfect spacing. A razor blade will make quick work of erasing your lines or any errant rub-ons.

Aren't these the CUTEST projects?!?! Love them all!!

Some Cute Flicks & Friday Scrapping Fun

I've had so much fun today scrapping my little heart out today and watching some good chick flicks that I've never seen before.

First one is "Why Did I Get Married?"... have you seen it?? A really cute flick!!

Synopsis: In this big-screen adaptation of Tyler Perry's stage hit, eight married college friends gather for a weeklong reunion in the snowy mountains of Colorado. But a startling revelation of infidelity sets off a chain reaction of soul searching.

Next was "Just Friends"... a super cute movie!!

Synoposis: The romantic comedy Just Friends stars Ryan Reynolds as a former high school geek turned trendy Los Angeles music executive. When he gets stranded in his New Jersey home town due to bad weather with a superstar singer he is trying to sign, he finds himself reunited with his high school crush and discovers she is his true love.

Okay... now for the scrappiness... I have been having LOADS of fun with my January Love Letters Mid-Month Kit from Two Spotted Dogs. Some super cute papers and awesome embellishment mix!!

Several of the projects I've completed today I can't share yet and am so bummed about that. BUT, they are for some Valentine fun that we are cooking up at Two Spotted Dogs... so stay tuned!! :o)

My Next Read

THREE POSTS in one day?!?!?! DANG, I'm on a roll, hehe!!

Since I've finished Ricochet, which was a FABULOUS read... I chose to stick with Sandra Brown and am starting "Play Dirty". Just LOVE all of her books!!

Recent Reading and Viewing Pleasures

We watch a lot of movies... well hubby does, and I halfway pay attention while I scrap. And I'm a BIG TIME bookworm... so I thought it would be fun to post randomly about different books and movies that I've enjoyed. Whatcha think?!?!

Just finished reading Ricochet by Sandra Brown... LOVED IT!! VERY good read!!
Synopsis: When Detective Sergeant Duncan Hatcher is summoned to the home of Judge Cato Laird in the middle of the night to investigate a fatal shooting, he knows that discretion and kid-glove treatment are the keys to staying in the judge's good graces and keeping his job. At first glance, the case appears open-and-shut: Elise, the judge's trophy wife, interrupted a burglary in progress and killed the intruder in self-defense. But Duncan is immediately suspicious of Elise's innocent act. His gut feeling is that her account of the shooting is only partially true--and it's the parts she's leaving out that bother him. Duncan investigates further and quickly finds his career, as well as his integrity, in jeopardy--because he can't deny his increasing attraction to Elise Laird, even if she is a married woman, a proven liar, and a murder suspect.--From publisher description.

I do love a good scary movie and this was a good one!! Pretty dang creepy!!!

Plot: An ex-cop and his family are the target of an evil force that is using mirrors as a gateway into their home.

And... I can't WAIT until LOST starts back up on Wednesday night, WOO-HOO!!! I am HOOKED on this show!!! Who's with me??

Oh, and if you happen to have any good book or movie recommendations, please comment away and let me know!!
You & Me Layout

Made this one this afternoon using Sketch #2 from the 52 Sketches, 52 Weeks Site, super fun one!! I also finally got to use some of the Crate Paper Lemon Grass products, LOVE THEM!! The colors are WAY to cool!!

This one also counts towards Recipe Challenge # 31 from the Sketches! {by Tamara} Blog... to use 3 strips of paper, distressed edges (I tore my edges) and a tag.

For You Card ~ Card-a-Licious Challenge #9

Had lots of fun with Challenge #9 from the Card-a-Licious Blog. Just love their challenges and was super excited to see that they were back after their Holiday break!!

I used some scraps from my January Monsters Kit from Two Spotted Dogs, just love all the bright, fun patterns of these papers!!

The challenge was to create a For You card and use alphabet stickers and the color green. I just love these Glitter Cardstock Alpha Stickers from Doodlebug Designs!!
