Inspirational Card Sketches #39 & 40

A little late in getting these posted too, but still wanted to share them.

These are the two cards I made for the past two week's over at Inspirational Card Sketches. Love, love the sketches there and just can't say it enough.

Here's my card using sketch #40 (this week's sketch). This week's sponsor, The Pixie Cottage, is providing two way cute digital images to the winner.

Here's the card I made using Sketch #39 (last week's sketch). We had an awesome sponsor, Doodle Palace, and I had lots of fun using one of the images they provided us.

Three Cards in One Post?!?!

Here are three different cards I made as part of the World Card Making Day Crop going on all month long over at My Sketch World. Loving the fun card sketch challenges Lucy has posted. There are several fun tutorial challenges as well... you should check it out!!

Sketch #1 ~ Recipe Challenge (use 1 ribbon, 1 flower, 1 button, 2 patterned papers, 2 word sentiment, 3 brads, 3 circles)

Sketch #2 ~ Color Challenge (use browns, orange and green, and a Fall/Thanksgiving theme)

Sketch #3 ~ Technique Challenge (2 types of distressing, and a Christmas/Holiday or Winter theme)

Song Bird Layout

Here's one I did last night... I'm been getting some fun scrappy time this weekend, and am loving it!!

First challenge... I used Sketch #19 from Twisted Sketches. The twist this week was to use ink, any kind, any way. I inked the edges of pretty much everything here.

Second challenge... 10/15 Carve It Up Challenge from Scrapbook Get-Away. The challenge was to use fussy-cutting on your layout. There are two paisley pieces that I cut out of a piece of Bo Bunny paper (brown & turquoise) located behind the corner of the embellishment cluster.'

You all should really check out Scrapbook Get-Away!! A longtime online scrappy friend Shana has just started a kit club which will debut soon. She is currently posting a challenge a day throughout October on the message board. FUN STUFF!!

(Oh, and I can't believe it, but I'm actually getting two challenges posted ON TIME to my blog... so in shock here, GO ME, hehe!!)

Wonder Layout

This layout was made during the last One-Hour Sketch Challenge over at My Sketch World, in September. LOVE these one-hour challenges, even though they stress me the heck out, hehe. You should see my scrap table after them... tornado city, hehe!! I finished this layout in about 24 minutes.

Lunch Date Fun Layout

Here's a layout from a while back... had fun using up some of my stash on this one! This one covered two different challenges.

First challenge... Friday ScrapSketch Challenge from September 4th. Just LOVE the sketches over there and there are lots of them!! RUN, don't walk to check them out!!

Second challenge... Leah's September Challenge from over at Two Spotted Dogs. It was a recipe challenge and you had to use the following on your page: 5 ribbons, 4 journal spots/stickers/tags, 3 gems/pearls/bling, 2 pictures and 1 heart.

Growing Old... Birthday Card

Here's a quick card I made over the weekend... combined two different challenges with it too. :o)

First challenge... late as usual, but this was made for Challenge #28 over at the Card-a-Licious Blog... to make a birthday card using red, blue and yellow. I just LOVE this blog and have followed it since day one. Super fun challenges!!

Second challenge... Sketch Challenge #6 for the World Card Making Day Crop going on ALL month long over at My Sketch World. The twist to the challenge was to use a quote on your card. You should DEFINITELY check it out, LOADS of fun!!

Be sure to stick around... more to come!

Inspirational Card Sketch #38 ~ Spooky Card

This week was another WAY FUN sketch over at Inspirational Card Sketches... LOVED working with Sketch #38. I decided to pull out my Halloween goodies and had lots of fun!! There is another cool prize up for grabs this week too, so be sure to check it out and play long!!

Scrappy Heaven Layout

I can't believe it's been so many days since my last post. Acckkk on life getting in the way!!

Had lots of fun with this layout, and I'm just LOVING the Moxxie Queen of the Crop line... just perfect for my recent scrap retreat pics!! AND, I covered three challenges with it!

First challenge... I used Sketch #31 from the Inspired Blueprints Blog... love, love their sketches and really want to get back to doing them more often.

Second challenge... 10/4 challenge from Scrapbook Get-Away... to use something you find in your kitchen that is non-scrappy on your layout. I used a plastic bread tie, and a bottle cap that I squished as embellishments.

Third challenge... Angele's October Layout Challenge from Two Spotted Dogs... to use at least three circles, mixed alphas in your title and hand or machine stitching.

More to come soon... I PROMISE!!

Sweet Sunday Sketch: Believe in You Card

Here's a quick card I just finished, this one made for Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #37 over at Karen Giron's Blog "The Sweetest Thing". I just LOVE her blog and stalk it often, hehe!! The sketch this week ROCKED too!!

Oh, and I'm on a Fancy Pants kick tonight I guess, hehe (see below card), just love this "All Fall" line and am so glad I came across these goodies tonight!!

Fancy Pants Friday Challenge:
Nurture Your Mind Card

I saw this Fancy Friday Challenge posted last Friday over at the Fancy Pants Blog and thought I'd give it a go... nothing like last minute considering the deadline is like an hour away or something, hehe.

Anyway, the challenge was to create a card, any theme, using at least some Fancy Pants products. Here's what I came up with. The sentiment was cut-out from one of the All Fall Cards. The two button punches in the button cluster were punched out of a couple of the All Fall Patterned Papers. Super fun stuff!!
