Had some card fun in between layouts yesterday. Got this one done using Challenge #29 from the 365 Cards Blog. Just love their challenges, and every Sunday is "So Sketchy Sunday"!!

Touchy, Feely Challenge Winner ~ 365 Cards Blog

SO very excited to get this news this morning... I was the winner of the Touchy, Feely Challenge from the 365 Cards Blog. I won a $10.00 gift certificate from the Crop Stop and 2 bottles of Stickles... FUN, FUN!!!

This is the card I made for the challenge... the challenge was to incorporate 3 different textures into your card.

I Am Thankful Card

Having some Scrappy Fun this evening, YAY!! Had a friend come over earlier this afternoon and we scrapped some, now I'm getting settled back into it for the night. Got hubby a couple of movies so he would be occupied. :o)

Made this card for Challenge #18 form the Cardalicious Blog... just love their OH SO FUN challenges every week!! So much inspiration from their fabulous Design Team too!!

Really loving these papers from Kaiser Craft too, the color mix is way fun... and loving the patterns too!! I'm REALLY into mixing black & brown together lately , hehe!!

Everyday Moments Card

This card is for Challenge #27 from the 365 Cards Blog... to incorporate 3 different methods of adding texture. I used another of my brand new Cuttlebug folders, just loving them!! Also used my Heidi Swapp Edge Distresser and did some tearing too. Had fun with this one!

Joy Card

Made this one for Challenge #26 from the 365 Cards Blog... to scrap with a color that you tend to shy away from. I knew right away that would have to be PURPLE. Not a fave of mine at all, so I find it hard to scrap with it. I made the base of my card a lavender, and used a large lavender flower too.

Hope is Free Card

Having some Friday night scrappy fun, and have the house ALL to myself, muah-hahaha!! Love it, so nice and quiet. And I've already finished 3 cards and am trying to decide what to work on next. Gonna start a chick flick too. :o)

This card was made for Challenge #25 from the 365 Cards Blog... an ad inspiration challenge. These are always fun!!

Oh, and the goodies are from my March Mid-Month kit from Two Spotted Dogs... fun stuff!!

Also got to play with my brand new Cuttlebug Embossing Folders. I just found out from my buddy Nathalia (who does FABULOUS work by the way, check it out!!) that you can use these with your Sizzix machine. I just HAD to get some, so love the look!! Picked up 3 different ones from Hobby Lobby during lunch today and am just loving them!!

This is Our Story Card

Here it is, another work night, and I found some scrappy time!! YAY ME!!

Hubby is occupied with the World of War dvd's I got him from Time Life. The teens are gone doing their thing. So I'm watching Idol, waiting for Lost, and scrapping!!

Just finished this card up using Sketch #9 from the Inspirational Card Sketches blog... another CUTE sketch and super quick card using up more scraps!!

For the next few weeks, we will be having "A Blast From the Past" over at the Sketches! {by Tamara} Blog. SO FUN, we get to work with some of Tamara's older sketches!!

This layout is for Sketch #88. Had lots of fun with it, and got to scrap some pics that hubby took of me this past weekend working on my Flower Container Garden. :o)

How fun is this challenge?!?! Just finished this card for Challenge #23 from the 365 Cards Blog. A printable crossword image to use on a card... so fun!!

Work, work, work here as usual. Only 1-1/2 hours to go though, then it's home to hopefully scrap some of the work night away. :o)

As Alecia Scraps Etsy Shop

Finally got around to adding some fun stuff to my Etsy shop... AS ALECIA SCRAPS that I've had forever. I've been playing around with felt, so you'll find some fun hand-made embellishments in there. Lots of ideas brewing in my head for these!!

Also, some of my handmade cards. Thought I'd try my hand at selling some of them, since I seem to just collect them. Some other random stuff in there too. I'm gonna try to add stuff regularly and will keep you all update. Also gonna try my hand at putting together some fun, one-of-a-kind kits (using old and new goodies) in the near future too, so keep your eyes peeled for that!! :o)

Man I've had fun this Scrappy Sunday!! And I'm just LOVING these Kaiser Craft papers, so glad I finally got my hands on some. And they are SOOOOO my color!!

Made this layout using Sketch #49 from the Triple the Sketch Blog... although I changed it up a bit. That's what I love about sketches, making them your own!!

Little Ladybug Layout

Had fun with this one!! I used Pencil Lines Sketch #126, a super fun one!!

I also made this for Wendi's March Recipe Challenge over at My Sketch World. Love Wendi's recipes... yum!!! :o)

And yep, you guessed it... I'm still devouring these Jillibean Soup papers. Getting down to scraps... uh-oh, what am I gonna do?!?!

Flower pot Garden & Life is a Journey Card

Finally getting some scrappy time this WONDERFUL Spring-like day in Houston. Spent lots of time outside, finishing up my flower pot garden. SO PRETTY!!

I also made this layout for the American Crafts THICKERS Blog Challenge... to use 3 different kinds of Thickers on one page. SUPER FUN challenge, and I have TONS, TONS of Thickers, just love them. I used:

• Vinyl ROOTBEER FLOAT Letters in Green

Had some scrappy fun this work night... also watched LOST and OMG it was so good tonight!! Just LOVE this show!!

Anyway, this card was made for Challenge #18 from the 365 Cards Blog... to use green as the dominant color on your card. Easy for me because I LOVE me some GREEN!!!

Had lots of fun with this card. I made this for Challenge #16 from the 365 Cards Blog... to use the word SUNSHINE as inspiration. Also made this for Nathalia's March Madness Week #3 Challenge over at Two Spotted Dogs... to use a winged creature on your card. Super fun challenges. :o)

I thought these Scenic Route paper scraps were perfect...and even used one of the diecuts as a SUN!!
