More scrappy schtuff from this past weekend, and can you tell I am having Oh, SO MUCH FUN with these WRMK White Out papers from my Two Spotted Dogs August Kit.

This card was made using DT Member Ingrid's Bonus Sketch posted over at the 2 Sketches 4 You Blog. FUN STUFF!!

This altered rolodex card was made using one of Wendi's Rolo Challenges over at Scrap Attack. We had to use a crown and other bling on the card.

This bookmark was made for one of Wendi's Wild with Wendi Challenges over at Scrap Attack. We had to make a bookmark using Wendi's "Recipe" that she posted. WAY FUN!!

Rolodex Cards ~ So Fun

Here's a couple of Rolodex Cards I made today. They are for a couple of the Rolodex Card Challenges over at Scrap Attack. Wendi posts some FUN challenges!!

The first one was made for the #23 Stars Challenge. I had to use at least 3 different stars on the rolodex card.


This next one was made for the #24 Heavy Metal Challenge. I had to use at least 2 metal items on the rolodex card.

Thursday Night Scrapping

So, I scrapped little last night. Had the house to myself for a few hours and enjoyed the heck out of it. Here's what I got done... This layout was made using the 52 Sketches, 52 Weeks Sketch Challenge Week# 33 Sketch... such a fun one!! Was really happy about how quickly this page came together!!

Oh, and I am IN LOVE with the new "Tinsel" Thickers... so shiny and cool!!!

More Layouts from my Crazy Cyber Crop Weekend

Ok, here are the last of the layouts I completed during last weekend's Cyber Crop at Scrap Attack Scrapbooking. Can't WAIT for the work day to end today, so I can get another scrappy 3-day weekend started!!

Oh, and can you tell I LOVE me some 6 x 12 pages?!?!?!

This layout was created for the "Sprinkles" challenge, which meant we were to use at least 10 "sprinkles" (brads, eyelets, etc...) on our page. I used several of the new Doodlebug Crushed Velvet Brads, LOVE THEM!!


This layout was made for the "Birthday Cake Recipe" challenge. We each chose a cake from the list posted, and were sent the specific "recipe" to create that "cake". I had to use mainly orange, staples, ribbon, buttons & stars. This one was WAY FUN!!!

This layout was made for a "Lift" challenge. We had to choose a layout from the Design Team Gallery in the Scrap Attack store and lift it. I chose a layout by Lauri (the owner), and this was what I came up with.

This final layout was made for a ribbon challenge. We had to use 3 different ribbon techniques on our page. I tied a ribbon across the page, used ribbon as a photo corner, and made ribbon loops for behind the flower.

Twilight Book Series by Stephenie Meyer

Ok, I've heard SUCH great things about the Twilight Book Series by Stephenie Meyer, so I ordered the first book, Twilight, last week. It came in 2 days ago, and I was so excited to start it. Well... I'm already on page 320 in less than 2 days... it's THAT good!!!

A Vampire Love Story??? Who can resist???

I just know I'm gonna finish this book very soon, so I'm gonna go ahead and order the next books before the weeks over. LOVE a good read!!!

OH... and they're making a movie about this book too!! Twilight the movie is due out in theaters November 21st, WOO-HOO!!!

Impromptu Blog Challenge #3 Sketch Challenge WINNER :o)

More Cyber Crop Projects :o)

Just sharing some more of what I got done over the weekend. I'm surprised I'm not dealing with a Scrappy Hangover after this Cyber Crop... SO FUN!!!

For these two layouts, I used my August Design Team "Wild & Crazy Kit" from Two Spotted Dogs... just LOVE these We R Memory Keepers White Out products... the colors and patterns just plain ROCK... not to mention all the fun embellies that Diane put together with them!!!

For this challenge, I had to scrap something about my job, so I scrapped a picture of my office.

This challenge was based on a relationship that was meaningful to us. I scrapped a picture of my best friend, Andie. Had fun with this one, and I broke out my old, trusty Dymo Label Maker for the journaling.

Cyber Crop Fun and Productivity OVERLOAD :o)

I had SO MUCH freakin' fun this weekend playing along with the Scrap Attack Birthday Cyber Crop. So many challenges, and WOW, the amazing inspiration that was uploaded to the gallery!! It was way cool with all the new people who joined us too!!

I managed to finish up 13 of the challenges, which I was very happy with, and stayed up WAY to late, but it was worth it!! I'll share a couple of them here, with more to post in the next day or so!!

This challenge was to create a card and 2 matching tags... had to be birthday themed, and you had to use stamping, ribbon and bling on each piece. I forgot how much fun tags were!!

This challenge was to create a layout that was Summer themed, and the twist was that something on the page had to be cut-out by me (the wavy strips), and something had to be distressed with ink (not a problem for me as I ink everything, hehe).

I will post more of my weekend scrappy projects soon!!

What a CUTE Clock ~ Thanks Mom!!

Just had to share this WAY CUTE clock that my mother got for me on one of her many, random shopping trips. That woman loves to shop, hehe!!

Anyway, I'm gonna use it in my scrap area, and one day, my scrap room... FUN!!!

Full of Wonder ~ Color Me Daisy August 2008 Contest

I had fun with this page!! It's for the Color Me Daisy August 2008 "Splish Splash" Contest.

The challenge was to use either green OR blue with black & white... then add a small splash of another color. I chose the green with black & white (shocker since green is my FAVE color)... and added a splash of yellow. This color combination was perfect as my kitty Chance's eyes are green & yellow!!

I did manage to do a little scrapping this weekend, even though it ended up being busier than I expected. I had LOTS of fun playing with my August DT goodies from Scrap Attack.

This month, I got to create using the way fun My Mind's Eye Just Dreamy Collection... love the colors, all the flowers, some fun stuff for sure!!

Stand-Up Comedy Anyone???

So, who likes stand-up comedy?? Ok, now... who loves small town, redneck comedy?? Me, me, me!!!

Hubby and I have a few comedians that we just love, but our FAVE is Jon Reep, who won Last Comic Standing last year. He got his start as the redneck Hemi guy on the Dodge commercials... "That thing got a Hemi??". I actually saw him perform in Houston a few years ago, before he was big and he is SO HILARIOUS!! LOVE me some good, redneck comedy!!

Well, he is in Houston this weekend at The Improv and hubby and I went and saw him last night... SO FUN!!! I'm STILL hurting from laughing so hard!! We even got to hang out with him after the show for a bit, such a nice guy!!

Rolodex Card Fun :o)

I just love making these fun, little, Altered Rolodex Cards. I participate in a monthly Rolodex Card Swap over at Scrap Attack and it's always so cool to get these fun cards in the mail from other scrappers. July's theme for the swap was Red, White & Blue, so I pulled out some scraps from the Scenic Route Liberty line and went to town!! I also decided to use felt on them, as there was a Felt Rolodex Card Challenge that it would fit as well!! Dontcha just love killing two birds with one stone?!?!
