Things Are Only Impossible... Card

Here's another card from my scrappy time this evening. Made this for Day 37's Challenge from the 365 Cards Blog... Dressed-Up Chipboard. They are also having Scor-it week , so you'll have to check out what's going on all week.

Also made this for Kim's April 3 in 1 Card Challenge from over at the My Sketch World Message Board... to use Cosmo Cricket products, use black as your card base, and create your own embellie(s).

I altered some chipboard stars by covering them with patterned paper, sanding the edges, and adding a little ink to some of the edges. Fun challenges!!

Calling All Cards for Breast Cancer Fundraiser

Just wanted to post about this awesome fundraiser my friend Lori from the My Sketch World Board, is putting together for the 60 Mile 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk. You can read all the details on her BLOG, but basically she'll be selling handcrafted cards to raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. If you would like to help, all you have to do is send her one handmade card. I ended up sending several!! You can get more details on her blog and contact her that way. Here is the link to her post that contains all the INFORMATION.

Hi Card

More card fun from yesterday's scrappiness... this card was made for two different challenges from the 365 Cards Blog... playing catch-up, hehe. I know they are past deadline and you're not supposed to combine them, but I just really enjoy doing them, and seeing the inspiration every day. A super fun blog for sure!!

The first challenge is Day 31... to have no sharp edges, everything rounded. Took lots of thinking on this one, but I finally came up with an idea.

The second challenge is Day 33... to use lots of white space on your card. This one got me to thinking too, but it was fun!

Take Note Card

Had some card fun, and on a work night even. I made this card using up more fun scraps from my stash... gotta love that!!

This card was made for Challenge #4 over at the Use IT! Blog... a super fun, new card challenge blog. The challenge was to use scraps of any kind, punches or die-cuts, two or more different ribbons, and one or more embellies that you once loved but haven't used in a long time. I used lots of scraps from my stash, my fave circle punch, 2 different ribbons, and Q & Co Felt Frenzy flowers with mini ladybug buttons by Dress It Ups that I've had forever!

Also made this card for Challenge #30 from the 365 Cards Blog... to use a ladybug for your inspiration and create a card. Super fun, and I LOVE me some ladybugs!!
