Thank You Card

Here's a fun, quick card I made earlier tonight... this one for two different challenges as well.

First challenge... Sketch #130 from the Card Positioning Blog. Really liked this one and will use it again for sure!!

Second challenge... Challenge T from the My Sketch World ABC Summer Crop... to make a Thank You card and use the color turquoise.

Here's a quick card I made last night that counts towards two different challenges.

First challenge... Card Sketch #3 from the Get Sketchy Blog. A fun new blog I came across recently, you should check it out.

Second challenge... Challenge V from the My Sketch World ABC Summer Crop... to create a card where the main color is Violet/Purple. Ackkkk, I am NOT a purple person, but I did it, hehe!!

First challenge... Sketch #12 from the Twisted Sketch Blog. The "twist" this week was to use foam or dimensional adhesives. FUN!!

Second challenge... Challenge Y from the My Sketch World ABC Summer Crop... to create a layout about food.

Friends Help... Card

Here's a fun card I made over this past weekend. Didn't get much scrapping done, but did manage to do a little. This card is for three different challenges...

Second challenge... Challenge P from the My Sketch World ABC Summer Crop... to use at least three different patterned papers.

Third challenge... Challenge #26 from the Card-a-licious Blog... to make a friendship card and use green, pink and orange.

Here are two layouts I did this past weekend. Both were made using sketches from the Scrapbook Heaven Summer Sketch Crop. I had tons of fun playing along with those scrappy gals, and even ended up winning one of the Crop RAK's!! So happy about that!!

This is one of my FAVE pictures of me and my brother... one of the few I have too. This layout was made for Challenge I from the My Sketch World ABC Summer Crop going on now. The challenge was to use lots of ink on your page.

Here's a pic from the retreat I went to recently. We had tons of fun laughing it up on this front porch way into the early hours of the morning, hehe!! This one counts towards three different challenges.

First challenge... Sketch #4 from the Scrapbook Heaven Sketch Crop this past week.

Second challenge... Challenge A from the My Sketch World ABC Summer Crop going on now. The challenge was an Ad Challenge, and I chose the colors from the ad as my inspiration.

Third challenge... Layout Challenge #5 from the Two Spotted Dogs Scrappy Summer Camp. The challenge was to create a layout using at least one element that is created using a craft technique other than scrapping or stamping. I hand-cut and hand-stitched a cute felt flower.

This was a really fun page to do. I just love this pic of my friend's little girl, she's such a doll!! This layout counts towards three different challenges. :o)

First challenge... I used Sketch #146 from the Pencil Lines Blog. A super fun sketch with lots of layering!

Second challenge... Challenge G from the My Sketch World ABC Summer Crop going on now. The challenge was to use glitter somewhere on your page.

Third challenge... Layout Challenge #7 from the Two Spotted Dogs Scrappy Summer Camp. The challenge was to create a layout with some sort of water theme.

Hello Sunshine Card

Here's a fun card from this past weekend... this one made for two different challenges.

First challenge... Challenge F from the My Sketch World ABC Summer Crop going on now... a different challenge every day!! Challenge F was to create a card and use at least four flowers.

Second challenge... Challenge #5 from the Two Spotted Dogs Scrappy Summer Camp. The challenge was to create a card that includes a sun.

Made these three layouts at the retreat as well. Had lots of fun with the printout of the August PageMaps I took with me. All of these were made using the August Maps. :o)


Tiki Girls Layout

Another retreat layout here...

I made this layout for Challenge #9 from the Two Spotted Dogs Scrappy Summer Camp going on now. The challenge was to use the colors blue & green, at least 2 photos and at least one flower, tree or leaf. There was a second part to this challenge too... to post a recipe in the Recipe Forum. Lots of good recipes over there, I've tried several of them!! A fun challenge for sure!!

I also used one of the August 2009 PageMaps... just LOVE Becky's sketches!!

Hey Card

Here's a fun card from this weekend, and it counts towards three different challenges. Slowly catching up here. Who knows, maybe I'll actually get something posted before the deadline this time, hehe.

First challenge... I used the Sketch #26 from the Card Patterns Blog. Love all the strips!!

Second challenge... Day 156 from the 365 Cards Blog... use the ad posted as inspiration. I chose to work with the greens & browns from the ad.

Third challenge... Card Challenge #2 from the Two Spotted Dogs Scrappy Summer Camp going on now. The challenge was to use two different shades of brown and some white on your card.

Here's another 30-minute layout challenge page from my recent scrappy retreat. I used Sketch #129 from the Scrap Sketch Blog. Another super fun sketch, just loved it!!

Here's another one I got done, this one using Sketch #145 from the Pencil Lines Blog. Had to fight myself to leave it tilted, hehe. Used a variety of scraps and embellies from my stash. :o)

More Retreat Layouts :o)

Here's a couple more layouts I made at the retreat... both of these were made using sketches from the Twisted Sketches Blog. Love, love their sketch challenges with a twist, and the talent over there... WOW!!

This first one was made using Sketch #7... the twist was to use brads or buttons, any kind. I used buttons!


This second one was made using Sketch #8... and the twist was to use at least one flower... way easy one, hehe!!
