Happy Birthday Card w/Two Mini Cards from Scraps

Here's some fun cards I made a little while back... these were made combining 3 different challenges.

First challenge... I used Sketch #132 from the Card Positioning Systems Blog for my larger card here.

Second challenge... Kim's September Color Challenge over at My Sketch World... to use the colors brown, green & orange on your card.

Third challenge... Daiva's September Challenge over at Two Spotted Dogs... to create a masculine birthday card. When you are done with that, then create two mini cards using your scraps from the first card. Super fun!!

Altered Promotional Magnet ~ Shopping List

You know we ALL get those promotional magnets in the mail... I have several on my fridge right now. I decided to alter one of these Rack Room Shoe magnets a few weeks ago when Sue posted her September "Alter Something" Challenge over at My Sketch World.

And guess what, it's on my fridge and is actually being used now! :o)

A Couple of {Hi} Cards

Hello out there... finally getting a chance to blog something... been a crazy, busy weekend that ended up with me having a nasty head cold... UGH!!! I did work today, but only lasted a few hours. Been hanging around the house, taking it easy.

This first card, I made this weekend for a couple of different challenges...

First challenge... Card Sketch #2 from the Scrap Sketch Blog. LOVING the new weekly card sketches over there!!

Second challenge... the Expression Card Challenge from the Scrap Pink Event Crop over at My Sketch World. Lots of fun challenges going on right now. The challenge was to create a card that has an expression on it.



This next card I made sometime in the last few weeks... it was for two different challenges (at the time) as well.

First challenge... I used one of the August card sketches from the So Sketchy Blog.

Second challenge... Lime Green & Lace Challenge from the ABC Summer Crop at My Sketch World last month.

Second challenge... Celeste's September Tag Card Challenge from the My Sketch World Forum... to use a tag on your card. I used a little plastic tag that I've had forever.

Third challenge... Amy's September Grandparent's Challenge from the Two Spotted Dogs Forum... to create ANYTHING to let your grandparent's know that you appreciate them.

Life is Beautiful Card

Scrapping... on a work night... and after an 11-hour day?? I can't believe it, hehe!!

I came across a SUPER cool blog the other day, The Sweetest Thing (Karen Giron)... and found out that she posts a card sketch every Sunday... way fun! I loved this week's Sketch #36 and had lots of fun working with it. I will definitely be keeping my eye on this blog in the future!

Hello Card

Really had fun with this card last weekend. AND it covered a whopping four different challenges, GO ME!!

First challenge... I used Card Sketch #131 from the Card Positioning Systems Blog.

Second challenge... Day #187 Challenge from the 365 Cards Blog... to use a label on your card. I used several old Scenic Route Label Stickers from my stash.

Third challenge... Angela's September Card Challenge from over at the My Sketch World Forum... have some of your embellishment(s) hanging over the edge of your card. This was fun!

Fourth challenge... Amy's September Card Challenge from over at the Two Spotted Dogs Forum... use a tree on your card.

Road Trip Layout

Here's one I've had done for a while. I knew I had missed posting before the deadline on the Twisted Sketch, so it's just sat in my stack to blog for a few weeks. This one was made for two different challenges.

First challenge... I used Sketch #10 from the Twisted Sketches Blog. The twist was to use at least one tag, any kind of tag.

Second challenge... Challenge M from the recent My Sketch World ABC Summer Crop. The challenge was to use a movie title as the title on your layout.

Hard at Work Layout

Here's a fun one I did earlier this evening. I used Sketch #37 from the 52 Sketches, 52 Weeks Site... just love the sketches over there!!

I used a recent kit from Zany Zinnia for this one too, love these goodies!!

SWAK/Adore Card

Here's a fun card from a while back. I just love working with red, black & white!!

This card covered two challenges for me when I did it...

First challenge... I used one of the August Card Sketches from the So Sketchy Blog.

Second challenge... Challenge R from the recent ABC Summer Crop at the My Sketch World Forum. The challenge was to use ribbon, rub-ons and red on your card. For the rub-ons part of the challenge I used two cherryArte rub-on butterflies on plain cardstock, then cut them out and used them as embellishments.

Shot Time Layout

This layout was made a couple of weeks ago, so as usual I'm late in posting it to the ol' blog, hehe. Had lots of fun with it though... AND, it actually covered three different challenges.

First challenge... I used Sketch #43 from the Pink Sketches Blog.

Second challenge... Tara's Bingo Challenge from the Let's Capture Our Memories Crop. I had to use the following items/techniques on my layout... torn paper, glitter or bling, use paint and ink your papers.

Third challenge... Challenge E from the recent ABC Summer Crop at the My Sketch World Forum.

Go Layout

Just finished this one up, and had lots of fun using all kinds of assorted items from my stash!

I used Twisted Sketch #14 for this one. The twist this week was to use metal, any type, on your page. I used some small washers and staples on mine.

Adore Card

Here's a fun card I made using up some goodies I came across in my stash. This one was done for two different challenges.

First challenge... Sketch #88 from the Got Sketch? Blog.

Second challenge... N Challenge from the recent ABC Summer Crop over at My Sketch World... to make a card that has at least one number on it. I used my Numbers Embossing Folder for a small background piece of cardstock.

Scrappy Chicks Layout

Here's a layout I did a couple of weeks or so ago... had fun with this one. The pic is of me and some girlfriends on our Scrappy Retreat Weekend at the end of July. This one counted towards two different challenges.

First challenge... I used a sketch by Jana Eubanks that was posted as part of the Scrapbook Heaven Sketch Crop recently... a really fun one!!

Second challenge... Challenge O from the recent ABC Summer Crop at My Sketch World. The challenge was to use at least three circles on your layout.
